2017 & 2018 Event Highlights
Over 6,5000 people attended the inaugural Festa Italiana (2017) and over 9,000 people attended the the 2nd annual Festa Italiana (2018)
Over 25 talented chefs and food vendors from Italy, Oahu and Maui delighted patrons with delicious authentic and Italian-inspired cuisine.
Festa featured performances from a variety of musical groups, including Mango Season, Mike Lewis, Hawaii Youth Symphony, Na Hoku Hanohano award winners Stef Mariani, Thomass Iannuchi, and Pierre Grill, and astounding “flash mob” performances by Hawaii Opera Theatre.
Additional entertainment included stilt walkers and live artist painting in the street as well as an artist corner showcasing art work available for purchase
The VIP experience "Passaporto Italiano" sold out with 300 attendees.
10-top tier Italian chefs and restaurants participated in the VIP experience.
In 2017 and 2018, Festa Italiana was presented with Senate and Governor proclamations, respectively, acknowledging Hawaii's first and only Italian festival.
